Vineyards & Soil: Located at altitude of 600 meters in the transition between Spain's coastal plain and inland La Mancha, Jumilla's aridity combined to result in fresh nighttime temperatures during the hot growing season. Chalky and clay soils offer ideal footing for the red varieties. 172 acres of estate vineyards are planted of tempranillo.

Vineyards & Soil: The character of this white is a combination of continental weather (long hot summers, cold winters) with a certain Atlantic maritime influence, with clay and gravelly soils. Temperatures vary widely and can drop below zero in winter and can reach 30° in summer. There is a risk of frost, freezing fog, high winds and hailstones in winter/spring.
